Säuts – Session pale ale

Light, hoppy and refreshing. A light beer with low alcohol content.

Appearance: Säuts looks like liquid caramel, clear and bright. A beer with medium sized bubbles and a thin foam layer to top your glass.

Nose: It has low alcohol content, but a complex aroma. You will find malty sweetness and juicy fruits. With fruit notes being rather ripe, one might even say jammy. Mind wonders to caramelised apples.

Taste: Citra, Enigma ja Sorachi Ace hops offer a added complexity to the caramel notes in first sip. Mid taste is dominated by light hoppy bitterness combined with grassy hints. Aftertaste offers a lingering grapefruit bitterness and freshness. A beer that tastes like a beer in it’s best sense. Suitable for all beer geeks – easy to drink. Great companion for grilling with friends or evening in sauna. Quench your thirst while mowing the lawn. Just drink it.

Serve: Serve from a glass, but drink it cold, around 5-7 °C.

Food pairing: Säuts brings to mind summer BBQ events enjoyed with family or autumn nights at the local pub with friends. It’s amazing with all kinds of pub snacks. Be it cheese fries, deep fried pork ears or salted beans. You can chat for hours, but a couple of Säuts  beers will not make your mind foggy.
